That three-headed crane is classy!
It is fun to fold.
And it does amaze me how the same paper can make cranes with one head and three heads.

OK, here’s what I think, you’re totally crafting Shikigami. It’s from Japanese folklore, they’re supposed small spirits. I think the Japanese are a superstitious bunch. But I think that’s what’s happening. I think when you go to sleep they must come alive, animated as wee ghostly spirits curious of the world their master comes from. Yes, I think this happens my friend.
I’d say we run with this idea.
In fact yes, yes this does happen. Three headed cranes and dinosaurs roam the house. Along with Buddha’s and dragons and other such papery things.
