About

I am a person who just enjoys writing. Wether it be a short story, something about my favourite music and musicians or anything really. It’s just a hobby, something I do that makes me feel happy.

So if you have found your way here I hope you enjoy your time here and find something that you like. Also all comments and criticism are welcome.

I am trying to think about a way to finish this, but it’s not coming so … I hope everyone who reads this blog goes on to have a great life, and stay beautiful.

Hi Skyraft, I just wanted to stop by your blog and say thank you for visiting mine. I’ve been reading your work, very interesting prose(s). A lot of your work has a very open feeling to it. I’ll stop by again :)

    Skyraft,

I have now spent a couple of hours on your blog. It’s lovely! I especially loved the poems and am pretty inspired to write right now. Just wanted to say that your writing is beautiful and warm. Look forward to reading more.

  3. Greetings, fellow wordrafter. There’s a vast universe here to explore!

    Hi Skyraft,

I am very impressed with your poems to two jumping spiders. Jumping spiders are my absolute favorite garden buddies. Such an amazing amount of awareness in such a tiny package.

    • Thank for the comment.

I like to think everyone loves jumping spiders, because they are so very awesome. And I think they do. Lots of searches that find my blog are for jumping spiders.

And again thanks for commenting. Those poems had a lot of views but little comment so its nice to see them get some love.

You write very well and interestingly. A couple months ago you left a comment on my FP blog post and I am, just now, getting around to visiting the blogs of my nice commenters. Thank you.

    • Thank you for the comment.

Really, honestly sorry its took me this long to respond. I’d like to say it got lost in the shuffle but it’s all on me, and I’m sorry.

If you do feel the urge to come back feel free to browse. I’m not great or anything but I have my moments. Sometimes. Ish.

Ethel and I have nominated you for a Versatile Blogger Award. You’ll have to go to fourwindowspress if you don’t know about it, and if you follow the instructions you’re a winner. We are mainly trying to let you know how much we honor you and your work, so you may or may not chose to accept the award. That’s up to you, but we certainly think you are worthy of more than this one gesture of thanks for you and your poetry.

Thank you for the visit and likes at my site. I wandered over to your blogspot site as well for a look at the Chinese poetry from which you had drawn inspiration. Beautiful all. (Btw, I love the title you gave the blogspot site.) :D

  12. Hi Skyraftwanderer,

    Tag, you’re it!

I resemble your About. I like the picture of Mothra! Thanks for dropping by my blog to read The Bone-Pickers. Not all my poetry is so stark. Short stories? Well, that’s another story. I’ll come back over the weekend and peruse and comment, if you don’t mind.

  17. skipmars says:

So, you should do an adaptation of Huck Finn using the sky raft. Bring it up to date. If you don’t, I know someone who will!

    • Depends on what you mean.

If by fiction, not a shot. Don’t write that anymore, don’t want to write that anymore. So if you want it, it’s all yours.

If by narrative poem, yeah, I could give it a shot. But there’s other stuff I want to write first.

Also, I’ve not read Huck Finn yet. I probably should get on that.

Once again I have posted an acknowledgement, acceptance and appreciation of a fresh bunch of Awards that the “Ben Naga” site has been offered. To see details, go to http://bennaga.wordpress.com/2012/06/01/a-quartet-and-an-oxymoron/.
The reason I am informing you of this is that your site is included in the list of my nominees to continue the chain(s). My post contains details of what you need to do if you wish to participate.

I recognise that several folk may wish to say “Thanks, but no thanks”. If you are among them, let me repeat a slightly rephrased version of what I wrote there: -

“I know several people featured here don’t like to participate in the offering and receiving of awards. No blame; indeed I may join you one day. Meantime, if an unwanted invitation arrives at your site please ignore it, beyond knowing that it was sent to demonstrate the esteem in which I hold you and your site.”

  19. Ben Naga says:

Just to let you know that you have been awarded the “Tell Me About Yourself Award”. For more details go to http://bennaga.wordpress.com/2012/06/29/just-like-buses/. Congratulations!

  20. What an imaginative name for the blog! I am so pleased to have visited here. All of your work is very impressive. Thank you for liking my poems and following!
