Fire Flies (2 poems, 2 fragments)

Fragments

Carved from an old tree stump, the laughing buddha resides deep within the forest, seen only by the fire flies who illuminate his smile in the night.

~~~
Burning brightly in the midnight hour, the fire flies, dancing and weaving between the blades of grass.
Poems
Carved from an old tree stump, the
laughing buddha resides deep within
the forest, seen only by the fire flies
who illuminate his smile in the night.
~~~

Burning brightly in the midnight hour,

the fire flies,

dancing and weaving

between the blades of grass.

All of the content is the same, I just wanted to try different methods of organisation. Also for the first poem and fragment, the last line bothers me somewhat. I tried “by night”, “at night” and what I finally settled on, “in the night”. If you have any feedback please do offer it.
