This is not a story, poem or anything like that. Think of it a PSA but without any message or “More You Know”.
This Thursday I will (hopefully) be doing a reading of some of my stuff at a local bar/pub that hosts a poetry night. I kind of have a rough idea of what I want to read but if you have ever visited this blog regularly/semi regularly or have just happened upon it and enjoy it I will take your suggestions of what I could read.
Also I apologise for only the one piece posted tonight. Normally I do more but I was writing one thing that got big on me. Should be ready by Wednesday, along with an update of one of my previous pieces, Friday Night (which honestly I loved writing): https://skyraft.wordpress.com/2011/05/11/friday-night/ . It will be a 1st person take on the second piece.

Note: This could also apply to any attempts that I make in getting published as well, which I am considering. Journals and stuff mostly. I don’t think that I am great at this but I have my moments.

I take delight in all of your works that I’ve read. I think you should include Friday night and some of your favorite poetry, so that’s my vote (although you most likely have your choices set). For some reason I would think a Thursday night at a Pub would require more fun sort of work, so maybe the ones that focus on death might not be what you’re looking for. Would you work around a theme? I wonder…

So far I am working with Axolotl Magician, Where Dragons Dwell and possibly Ivory Forest (Poem) although the latter is open to change. Short fiction will be Friday Night, the 2nd piece. Because the first sentence of the second paragaph might be my favourite thing I have ever written.
Actually thinking about I could read the second of the Jazz poems I wrote. That could work.
