Zephyr (Poems)

Dipping sun
blazing sky
scarlet clouds.

Setting sun
ignites the sky
white clouds
consumed by flame.

The west wind
gathers dust
before scattering it
through the firmament.

Drifting in the air
hued by the crimson sky
the horseman rides through
the crimson haze.

Sun subsiding
razing a path through the
crimson sky
stripe of yellow lingers
in the ether
as scarlet clouds
roam the sky.

The west wind
rises dust
suspends it in the air
as the crimson sky
filters through the haze,

In the midst of
the crimson ground cloud
the silhouette of a
rider pushing onward.

Inspired by Georgia O’Keeffe’s From the Plains series:

An inspired also by the Red Hot Chilli Peppers:

As for the poems I was considering making the last two into a single poem. Feedback is welcomed.
