Colours (Poems)

Blackness.

Vast,
desolate

horizon of non-existence.

FLASH!

Yellow coruscation
leaves amber trail condensed on ethereal currents
as crimson spirals
undercut by purple streaks
overwhelmed by viridian flares
burning out as azure flickers
vanishing into oblivion.

Fade out.

Vast,
desolate
horizon of non-existence.

Misted
obscured in the
churning night tide

violet lights dancing and darting
through
cavalcades of
saffron and viridian
under an all-encompassing
crimson wave

before fading
nether world void abides
churning night tide.

Dead of night
pallid wraith bone ether
aimless drift
before vanishing
in a
azure flash

Lilac light
distant
dimming
beyond
vanishing point

Yellow
flickering
fading
giving way
to
viridian mists

Light
reflecting, refracting
on scales
rainbow trout
flying through
the night air
passing tower blocks

Red, blue, yellow
blaze together
enveloping
the city
erasing the
night

Gloaming
draped in silence
plays host
to flickers and flares
of viridian and saffron
scarlet and azure
amber and indigo
spiraling
swirling
streaking
trails of rainbow nebulosity
lingering, fading, diffusing
emptiness remains

Red and yellow
flash
over blue stream

Black and gold
streak leaves
navy blue trailing in dust
