Things sink into dust. Yet there are no things,
and no dust. Candle wick shows the way back.

Yet there is no way back, and no way
forward. Just sit. Just sit. Wick

crackles, seated feet shuffle. Nothing
beyond this moment. Nothing before this moment.

This resonated with me. It’s beautifully written and captures sittiing zazen beatifully. Love how you’ve used the candle wick in this rather than the more obvious candle flame. It’s fluid yet captures a moment in time, being present, perfectly.

    All the best,

The word crackle is still resonating in my thoughts. And I loved reading about the artist of this picture. I want to buy it just to support the guy. There is something so moving about his story.
