Phoenix Feather

 Armour in vines.
Sword in weeds.

Phoenix feathers solitary blaze sought in the vast, empty black.
The dipper shines bright. Multi petal lotus unfurls ten thousand colours.

Phoenix feather.
Empty vast black.

The dipper shines bright. Many petal lotus unfurls ten thousand colours.
Silver sword lies in weeds. Detached armour rests in ferns.

Sword lies in weeds.
Armour rests in ferns.

Looking for a phoenix feather in vast empty black.
The dipper shines bright. Wandering eyes fade, and fade.

really cool repetition in this, building the scene and accentuating the search for the feather….cool imagery as well…the discarded arms and armor, discarded safety to complete the quest…

  2. there are some nice images here… I think the rearrangement of the phrases with each section is interesting.
