waves no waves.
swells no swells.

heavens grand spear rends, and rends.
under heavens bridge eight universes shine, and shine.

As usual, a stunning mix of word and image. Repetition. Repetition. An interesting device. Helps to give song. Slows up that presumtious desire to reach the end of something. A second glance. A third meaning. Adds layers whilst looking at the same thing. Trance, trance. The delight of sound over meaning, then meaning over meaning, then both together. The same words shifting. Shifty words. Steady words, shifty mind. Discomforted mind. Know that, heard that, move on. Move on! What? Something missed, perhaps. Same words. Different pictures. A bloom of uncertainty breeding a flock of bright somethings, dark somethings. Words like breath, living words, chant words, insistent words, lascivious, lusting on the tongue, simple sound stymies smart-ass mind….
