Heron (3 poems)

Against emerald leaves
white and gray

still by waters edge

~~~
White and gray
silent by waters edge.
Streak of black,
flash of yellow.
Splash of water,
struggling fish.
~~~

Muted gray, stark white,
darkest black, flashing yellow

patiently studying the
fishes escape routes.

~~~
Heron as interpreted in abstract, purely colour. Feedback welcomed.
